Kryta
Improved Data Management and B2B Sales
A unified solution with DynamicWeb PIM and e-commerce enables Kryta to deliver accurate product data to customers and authorities across multiple countries, positions them strongly to meet future demands.

Kryta A/S supplies spices and blends to retailers, the foodservice sector, and the food industry in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. Their product range includes pure spices, spice blends, cut herbs, and specially developed functional mixes for products such as ready meals. Kryta stocks 700 different base spices and ingredients, which they use to create custom blends in close collaboration with their customers.
The Challenge
Kryta sought to improve the management and organization of their product information.
We introduced them to Product Information Management (PIM) and discussed how a PIM system could benefit their business.
With a PIM system, Kryta can centralize all product data and streamline workflows related to creating and maintaining product information. It also allows them to easily distribute selected data to various channels, for example via product feeds in different formats. The result is more efficient processes and improved product data, ultimately leading to a better customer experience.
Early in the PIM project, it became clear that Kryta also wanted an e-commerce solution. The scope of the project was therefore expanded to include a webshop, where product data is delivered from the new PIM system and Kryta’s ERP system.

The Solution
More than a PIM project
The project initially began as a standalone PIM initiative, with the goal of consolidating all product data in one place. Since there was a high likelihood that Kryta would later use PIM in conjunction with a webshop, the PIM system was designed from the start to support that purpose.
That decision quickly proved valuable, as the scope of the project expanded to include a B2B webshop. Kryta has now implemented a unified DynamicWeb solution based on Swift, using standard PIM and e-commerce functionality with a few customizations.
When logged into the webshop, customers can view personalized assortments and pricing. The solution is multilingual-ready and supports purchasing in different packaging sizes — such as cans, boxes, and pallets.
QuickPay has been implemented as the payment solution, supporting both card payments and MobilePay. Kryta received assistance with the initial webshop layout setup, along with customizations to Swift regarding category and product views — and the ability to print recipes was added.
Integration
To display the required data, the solution is integrated with Kryta’s ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, providing real-time access to customer-specific pricing and inventory status.
Training
Kryta received training in DynamicWeb to enable them to create pages, manage layouts, maintain web content, and set up customer-specific assortments on their own. The goal of the training was to make them self-sufficient and fully equipped to manage the solution in their day-to-day operations.
"We needed a solution that could support future requirements for sustainability and accurate product data. Our project involved organizing and structuring data on products, materials, and suppliers — a complex task. After a thorough process, we chose a DynamicWeb solution that combines both a PIM system and a B2B webshop in one unified ecosystem.
Consit was selected as our development partner due to their extensive technical insight and strong business development expertise. The collaboration has been smooth and successful, resulting in a user-friendly webshop and a solid data structure. This solution enables us to deliver the required product data to both customers and authorities across multiple countries, and we are now well prepared to meet future demands."
The Result
Integrated solution combining PIM and e-commerce
Kryta now has an integrated solution combining PIM and e-commerce, which strengthens and streamlines their B2B sales. The solution is flexible and can easily be expanded as new needs arise.
"With the new PIM solution, we are now able to deliver all the required data to customers and authorities — and save valuable time."
