When the new owner took over the company, it quickly became apparent that the existing IT infrastructure did not meet Bomedys' growth ambitions. The outdated system, in use for over 20 years, was not future-proof and would no longer be supported. This created the need to invest in a new technical infrastructure, including CRM, ERP, eCommerce, and PIM.

Since Bomedys must respond flexibly to customer needs, it was essential to find a solution that was both scalable and customer-oriented, without requiring extensive customization. At the same time, the new solution needed to deliver efficiency improvements, particularly in product information management and self-service through a B2B portal.

Implementation

Implementation of an integrated eCommerce and PIM system for efficient growth!

In 2022, Bomedys, along with IT architect Odum, began implementing a new technical infrastructure. The main requirements were a flexible system that offers scalable solutions for CRM, ERP, eCommerce, and PIM. DynamicWeb was chosen due to its standard integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the lack of extensive customization requirements.

On March 1, 2023, Bomedys went live with its new integrated systems, including the DynamicWeb platform. All existing processes were transferred to the new system in a single day, a significant but well-prepared step. Thanks to thorough training and support, the go-live was successfully completed.

DynamicWeb’s PIM solution now allows Bomedys to efficiently manage product information and quickly adjust to specific customer requirements. Particularly crucial for Bomedys is the format in which product information is provided, as they must adapt to the needs of various retail customers. DynamicWeb automated and standardized these processes, saving Bomedys hours of manual work.

Another key aspect was the integration with Multisafepay, which provided Bomedys with a solution for their B2B payments. Unlike many other payment providers that charge a percentage per transaction, Multisafepay offered a payment solution more suited to larger orders, resulting in significant cost and time efficiency.

We now save up to two days per month on administrative tasks thanks to the automation of our PIM system in DynamicWeb. This gives us the space to focus on growth and further support our customers.
