BKI

Separate B2B login and customer portal with the possibility to control access and display layer

BKI wanted to focus on Professionals, by attracting new B2B-customers and get an up-to-date eCommerce solution with online service to improve the user experience and buyer journey for both new and existing customers. Also, BKI had a wish to guide customers to buy products directly on the webshop rather than calling BKI Foods.

Sven Mathiesen was among the first to introduce coffee to Danish production in 1960 where he founded BKI which is still among the biggest and most loved coffee brands in Denmark. Today, BKI Foods is active in both retail and the food service sector importing and exporting several coffee brands as well as tea, chocolate, olive oil and other high-quality delicacies. BKI Foods consists of BKI Professionals for bigger enterprises, DanKaf for medium and small companies, and BKI AB for enterprises in Sweden.

The Challenge

The need for gathering all services on one platform

An ongoing goal for BKI is to deliver the best coffee solutions and user experiences to their customers.

Especially, BKI wanted to focus on BKI Professionals, by attracting new B2B-customers and get an up-to-date eCommerce solution with online service to improve the user experience and buyer journey for both new and existing customers.

Also, BKI Foods had a wish to guide customers to buy products directly on the webshop rather than calling BKI Foods.

The Solution

Separate B2B portal with the possibility to control access and display layer including personal customer dashboard

BKI got a brand-new webshop where the customers can order new products, keep track of orders, and contact the personal coffee consultant via a log-in portal.

Together with BKI Foods, No Zebra created a content universe of inspiration for new potential customers and furthermore, a webshop platform for existing customers on DynamicWeb. It was important that the solution would integrate with BKI’s existing systems Perfion, Navision, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM to be able to collect and make use of relevant data for lead generation and conversions on the website.

The new solution included CMS with muliple language layers, easy and fast checkout flow. B2B login with individual agreement prices and the option to create favorite list of products.

The Result

B2B Webshop where customers can order new products, keep track of orders, and contact the personal coffee consultant via a log-in portal

In average, professionals visit 6.38 pages per sessions which is a growth of 62,40 % compared to the same period last year.

With the establishment of the new platform, BKI Professional obtains the benefits from the latest version of DynamicWeb’s platform, as well as the development of additional functionality from a prioritized backlog.

Also, the user interface and administration of the website was improved by gathering all services on one platform.
