AVN wanted a standard solution and the choice fell on DynamicWeb. By choosing a standard solution, AVN wanted to save time/money and minimize the risk of errors in both the setup and in relation to future updates.
The AVN Group consists of 6 different subsidiaries, where each company specializes in each area. With AVN, you get high-quality technical solutions and products in the fields of tools, automation, sheet metal processing machines and hydraulics.
AVN had an older solution, consisting of a website for the Group, from which the visitor linked on to the websites of the five subsidiaries with associated webshops. The solution had extremely limited options for building navigation and pages, which resulted in many clicks and a poor overview when navigating around what felt like one large website.
Therefore, the AVN Group needed a new and more coherent web solution that could unite the various sites in one system - both for the benefit of the company and the visitors to the website.
DynamicWeb's premium solution partner, Easyflow Agency, had a dialogue with the AVN Group, where during the initial clarification they decided to combine the three hydraulic sites into one, whereby the task became one group site and three company sites, each with its own shop.

Often, even with a standard solution, there will be a need for minor custom changes, for example to adapt the design to the company's visual identity. From the very beginning, however, AVN made it clear that "standard" had to be taken literally.
Some of the resources saved with a standard solution were instead allocated to clarifying how DynamicWebs standard functionality could best be combined with AVN's needs and how we could give the 4 sites an identity via the DynamicWeb standard settings.
In the design, the colors and geometry of the company logos were used as identity providers. As the colors are very colorful, the rest of the design was kept in white, gray, and black.
AVN got four modern websites with back-ends, which are easy and flexible for AVN to work in and with shops, with all the functionality that a modern consumer requires.
For AVN's on-the-go salespeople, this means, among other things, that they can log in to their iPad on behalf of the customer directly at the meeting with the customer and order in the webshop. Timesaving compared to before, where they noted the customer's order incl. item numbers on a block, which they later called into the back office, who then typed the order into AVN's ERP system.
