B2B eCommerce and self-service for supporting international dealers
The new international B2B eCommerce retailer platform complies with all the latest standards and designs. The platform is fully responsive and available in 15 languages so that retailers can access the site and place orders while on the move and are able to export orders worldwide.
Apollo Vredestein previously had an ERP-based ordering system. The challenge was to implement a new international eCommerce platform, capable of branding both brands, Apollo and Vredestein, and to inspire and service international re-sellers, including ordering, payments, shipping, and VAT (upsell, cross-sell).
In addition to the international eCommerce, Apollo Vredestein formulated a number of objectives and goals to be achieved by the new platform. First, a boost in online sales, secondly, a more efficient and user-friendly solution, thirdly, a B2B self-service module, and finally, to get access to more insights and data on online activities and customer interactions.
Along with their DynamicWeb partner, Innovadis, Apollo Vredestein decided to use the DynamicWeb All-in-One platform, which complies with all the expectations and requirements.
The platform makes it easier for customers to place and track orders, access ordering history, and product information, generate quotes and calculate prices. In addition, the new solution contains a search function, which makes it easier for retailers to search by product code or name, or even extended product group filters.

Because of the integration with the AS/400 and SAP ERP and PIM system, the platform is highly automated, so when an order is placed, the system automatically performs real-time calculations of customer-specific prices, personal discounts, and volume discounts. When processed, the order is forwarded to the back-end office system for further processing.
All combined, it saves a lot of time and resources for Apollo Vredestein, but also for all their international dealers, who spend less time placing and processing orders – time, which they use to generate additional business and orders, which increases the Apollo Vredestein bottom line.
