Benefits:

  • Swift will be compatible with DW9 and DW10
  • Bugfixes & latest feature releases will be available on Github
  • No longer need to update Swift when you upgrade from DW9 to DW10
  • No duplicate templates when upgrading
  • The compatibility settings will no longer be necessary

This wave is introduced to focus on some PIM functionalities that will make life easier for editors and in the daily use of PIM.

Permissions for controlling the access to the individual areas and the items within the trees of the areas is expected to hit a release during October. Work will continue for implementing more granular permissions, and making permissions part of the Headless APIs.
