Unlocking Efficiency and Growth: Go-Pak Launches New Digital Platform with B2B eCommerce, Brand Website, and PIM
Inefficiency in order collection, competitive market pressures, outdated processes, and reduced facetime with customers led Go-Pak to explore new digital opportunities.

The Go-Pak Group is the British subsidiary of SCG Packaging (SCGP) and consists of three operating companies. The company specialise in providing disposable products and packaging for the food service, cash and carry and retail sectors.
The Challenge
Outdated Processes Hinder Efficiency and Growth
Go-Pak's Lack of an eCommerce Platform Limited Operational Efficiency and Sales Potential
Go-Pak faced a significant barrier in its operations due to the absence of a modern eCommerce solution. Without an online platform, both B2B and B2C customers were forced to engage through outdated channels such as contact forms, emails, and phone calls. This inefficient process created delays across the business, as sales agents spent valuable time on manual tasks rather than focusing on high-impact activities like customer visits and order acquisition.
In a highly competitive market with increasingly thin margins, the inability to streamline order processing and customer interaction became an urgent pain point. With traditional methods proving time-consuming and increasingly unsustainable, Go-Pak found itself at a crossroads. The lack of a seamless, online ordering system hindered growth, slowing down both the speed of transactions and the ability to scale effectively. In short, the absence of a comprehensive eCommerce presence was becoming a critical roadblock to operational efficiency and long-term business success, demanding immediate action for modernization.

After researching the market and evaluating the offerings of various companies, we determined that DynamicWeb would provide the most value and align closely with our needs. We were particularly impressed by examples of websites they had previously developed, which showcased the high quality of their work. This gave us confidence that they could help us achieve a similar level of excellence.

The Solution
Streamlined Business Operations with DynamicWeb All-in-One
A comprehensive digital customer engagement platform that includes B2B eCommerce, PIM, content management, marketing automation, and integration with Microsoft Business Central.
Product Information Management (PIM)
The PIM system consolidates and enriches product data in one place, enhancing the product experience with text, images, videos, and PDFs. It enables workflow configuration and quality control, extracting initial product data from ERP for further enrichment.
B2B Webshop
The B2B webshop, based on the Swift template, allows easy design customization without coding and is responsive across mobile devices. It includes standard pages, a product list with facet search, live pricing, and minimum order quantities. Features like checkout, voucher codes, a customer center for order history, and marketing tools like a newsletter template are also provided.
Tightly integrated with D365 Business Central
An out-of-the-box plug-in ensures seamless integration with D365 Business Central, syncing data such as currencies, customers, products, prices, and orders. This integration supports continuous operation even if the ERP system goes down.
Customizations
Customizations include delivery order dates with lead-times, a data change request form, order tracking, and pallet calculations based on customer and country requirements.
A key factor in choosing DynamicWeb was the wide range of features and services they offer. These included the ability to host an interactive website with integrated e-commerce, secure customer account logins, and a Product Information Management (PIM) system to store and manage product data. Additionally, their solution offered seamless integration with our ERP system. Given that DynamicWeb met all of our criteria, we felt it would be an ideal fit for our business.
The Result
The solution has modernized Go-Pak's processes, improved customer engagement, and streamlined order placement with pricing models tailored to customer profiles.
With the new platform, customers are no longer limited to only viewing the products but can now order them directly via the store – at their specific prices and discounts, greatly reducing time in the purchasing process.
Next Step for Go-Pak:
“The next step for Go-Pak is to fully integrate the Product Information Management (PIM) system into our setup, allowing us to centralize and manage all product information more efficiently. Currently, this data is stored in a large Excel file, which is not a sustainable solution long-term. Implementing PIM will bring much-needed structure, scalability, and consistency to how we manage product content”.
“Another initiative in the pipeline is to expand our e-commerce offering globally. At present, our e-commerce platform is only available to UK customers. By exploring international markets and launching region-specific e-commerce channels, we see significant potential to grow our customer base and increase product accessibility worldwide”.

Since go-live, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the new platform. We have released the platform to a select group of customers, resulting in a lot of orders, with a wide range of pricing. This has provided customers with the flexibility to place orders as frequently as they wish, while also allowing our customer service team to focus on other key areas of the business.
