The challenge was to implement a new international ecommerce platform, capable of branding both brands (Apollo and Vredestein) and inspiring and servicing international resellers – including ordering, payments, shipping and VAT (up sell, cross sell).

Along with their Dynamicweb partner, Innovadis, Apollo Vredestein decided to use the Dynamicweb All-in-One Business platform, which complies with all the expectations and requirements. The platform makes it easier for the dealers to place and track orders, to access ordering history and product information and to generate quotes and calculate prices. In addition, the new solution contains a search function, which makes it easier for retailers to search by product code or name, or even extended product group filters.

The platform is fully responsive and available in 15 languages, so that retailers can access the site and place orders while on the move and are able to export orders worldwide.
Because of the integration with the AS/400 and SAP ERP and PIM system, the platform is highly automated, so when the order is placed, the system automatically performs a real-time calculation of customer specific prices, personal discounts and volume discounts. When processed, the order is forwarded to the backend office system for further processing.
